Abebaw Alemayehu has more than 17 years of World Bank operational and analytical experiences, including task management in urban/local government and human development sectors in the Africa region. Have a range of experience working on urban development, local government performance grants, decentralization, capacity building, urban infrastructure and slum upgrading, urban resilience and disaster risk management, urban transport, community driven development, and emergency operations.
He led the implementation supervision, and preparation of lending products ranging from simple projects (about US$ 30 million SIL/IPF), to complex P for R program (with US $556 million). Currently, he is task managing urban operations in Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda
