Abedalrazq F. Khalil is the Practice Manager for the World Bank’s Urban, Resilience, and Land group in South Asia. With a distinguished career spanning international development and investment banking, Khalil has held several technical and managerial positions across multiple regions within the Bank. He currently oversees more than 20 investment project financing throughout South Asia—including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bhutan—managing a portfolio valued at US$5.0 billion. His leadership focuses on advancing resilience, municipal finance, and sustainable municipal service delivery. Khalil holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and has co-authored multiple papers in leading scientific journals. His work is widely recognized for driving innovation and impact in building livable, climate-resilient cities.
