As an active youth environmentalist at a global level, Abhiir has been working in the field of environmental conservation for over 8 years. Identified by BBC World News as amongst the foremost youth environmentalists globally in 2020, Abhiir has been working in the field of environmental conservation for 11+ years. As an independent sustainability consultant and policy advocate, he has led 250+ workshops and speaking engagements at various prestigious fora. Having graduated from Ashoka University, he is working at a consulting & accounting firm where he supports public policy, and sustainability and drives social & environmental impact projects. Outside of his day job, his youth-led, intersectional, on-ground pro-climate campaigns* have involved over 500+ volunteers in cleanliness, awareness & plantation drives, and his initiatives have been prominently covered in the national & international media, and he's been a three-time TEDx speaker. Abhiir is a My Future My Voice Ambassador for Earth Day International, and sits on the Board of the Commonwealth Human Ecology Council."
