Ablaye DIA was trained as a primary school teacher, among the first cohort of multi-skilled teachers (preschool and elementary levels). Between 1994 and 2000, he taught modern literature at the primary and secondary levels. He became an elementary school inspector in 2003 and was assigned to the IEF Kaolack department where he was the focal point for early childhood as well as an external trainer at the CRFPE in preschool didactics and psychology. In 2010, he transferred to the Department of Training and Communication (DFC), where he was Head of the Preschool, Elementary and EBJA Training Office, then Head of the Training Division in 2013. He holds a Master's degree in Literature and is also a specialist in ICT with several trainings, including Specialist in E-Learning (SEL), African Leader in ICT (LATIC) and Engineer in Analysis, Design and Research in the Field of Engineering Technologies in Education (ACREDITE) at the University Cergy-Pontoise.
