Aboudrahyme Savadogo (Abou) is an Economist at the World Bank in the Poverty and Equity Global Practice. He is the Poverty Economist for Niger and Chad. In this assignment, he led the Chad poverty Assessment and the high frequency surveys in Niger and Chad. He is currently co-leading the Chad systematic Country Diagnostic, the Sahel Poverty Monitoring Program, and StatCap projects to develop statistical public goods and initiatives for data sharing and analysis in Chad and Niger. Before, he worked as a consultant for the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity Global Practice where he led analytical, monitoring and operational works in Sahel countries. During the same time, he was a Statistician for the National Statistical Office of Burkina Faso for six years. Abou obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from Laval University in Canada in 2016.
