Health Specialist at the World Bank Group

Adanna Chukwuma is a health specialist at the World Bank Group where she leads the Armenia health portfolio. Since joining the Bank as a Young Professional in 2016, she has also been involved in the design and implementation of health service delivery reforms in Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone, India, Tajikistan, and Romania. Adanna began her career in global health as a medical doctor involved in frontline service delivery in Nigeria, where she also led rural community health promotion programs. She earned a Master of Science in Global Health Science from University of Oxford and a Doctor of Science in Health Systems from Harvard University.
