Adetoun, a Nigerian national, joined the World Bank’s Infrastructure, PPPs & Guarantees Group in 2015 as an infrastructure and legal consultant based in Washington, D.C. Previously, Adetoun worked as an attorney at the law firm of Pinheiro and Co. in Nigeria where she oversaw corporate and commercial transactions as well as transparency and corruption issues in the Nigerian banking sector. She also worked as General Counsel to the Citizen’s Governance Advocacy Project, where she measured and analyzed the impact of infrastructure projects in local communities. Adetoun holds an LLM in Law and Government from the American University College of Law in Washington, D.C. She also holds a Masters in Public Administration from American University. She is called to the Nigerian Bar, where she obtained her LLB and BL in Law. She is passionate about infrastructure governance and development in Africa.
