Aditi Lal is a consultant at the World Bank’s Education Global Practice. She works on global strategic partnerships, supporting the World Bank’s engagement with external partners on global education. She also works with the Education Finance and Reform Thematic Group. Previously, she has worked on operations in Africa, leading the implementation of projects in Malawi. She has also worked on research related to socio-emotional learning in the East Asia & Pacific region. Prior to joining the World Bank, Aditi worked with lawyers, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions in India and the USA. She is the author of Social justice programs in higher education: Affirmative action in the USA and reservation system in India, published in the Handbook on Promoting Social Justice in Education. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership & Societal Change as well as a Law Degree.
