Adnan works with the World Bank’s External Affairs and Corporate Relations team for South Asia, and has held previous consultancies with the Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment (MTI) and Social Protection and Jobs (SPJ) global practices. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked as a staff reporter and later associate editor at Newsweek in Pakistan, where he was also a program coordinator for the Lahore Literary Festival, and a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum. Adnan has a Master’s degree in international relations from Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and an Honours BA in political science, economics, and history from the University of Toronto.
