Adrian Wardzynski is a Tax Counsel at IFC. In his role as a Tax Counsel, Adrian is responsible for analyzing and advising on tax risks relating to investee companies and use of offshore jurisdictions in the investees’ international group structures pursuant to the World Bank Group’s Intermediary Jurisdictions Policy. He is also actively engaged in the initiatives taken by IFC to promote and encourage adoption of responsible tax practices among its private sector clients.
Adrian has a well-rounded tax profile with over 10 years of professional experience. Prior to joining IFC, Adrian worked in tax and policy roles at OECD, IMF, as well as the State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF) and a Big Four consulting firm in Switzerland. He has keen interest in the evolving international tax developments and published papers in a number of specialist tax and legal publications on a range of tax topics. He holds an LLM degree in Taxation from LSE, an LLB degree from the University of Aberdeen, and he completed specialized courses on finance and financial accounting at the Harvard Business School.
