Adriana is a transport consultant at the World Bank, based in Washington, D.C. She joined the organization in 2023 and has primarily worked on transport projects in Brazil, focusing on improving infrastructure resilience, safety, and connectivity.
Adriana contributes to the Pro-Rodovias Program focusing on projects aimed at financing proactive, safe, and resilient road assets across Brazilian states. Additionally, she is involved in urban transport projects, including work on the São Paulo metro, supporting efforts to promote sustainable and inclusive urban mobility solutions.
Before joining the World Bank, Adriana worked at the Embassy of Spain in Washington, D.C., as a Multilateral Projects Analyst and Trade and Infrastructure Advisor. In this role, she advised Spanish companies on navigating bidding processes and developing projects financed by the World Bank Group and the Inter-American Development Bank. She also monitored Spanish IFI Trust Funds and supported the Spanish Administration Trust Fund Committee in the analysis and evaluation of technical assistance for these funds at the World Bank and IDB.
