Adriana Reina Quintero is a consultant in the Environment, Natural Resources & Blue Economy Practice, World Bank, Bogotá, D.C. She works on the analysis and review of the World Bank environmental standards compliance during planning, implementation, and completion of national and regional-scale projects, and the environmental assessment of development policies financing. Before joining the World Bank she worked as an environmental specialist in France, Colombia, Argentina, and Haiti successfully facing cultural and political challenges. Her professional interests are focused on development projects promoting sustainable growth, and improving the life quality of people in vulnerable environments. She holds a master's degree in environmental engineering from the University of Toulouse III, France.
