Agathe Christien is a gender expert who worked as a Gender and Social Inclusion Consultant with the World Bank on how to integrate a gender and conflict-sensitive lens in environmental and natural resource management projects. Her work with the World Bank also included developing a regional strategy on addressing gender-based violence (GBV) in the Middle East and North Africa and GBV assessments in Djibouti and Yemen. She is currently a Programme Coordination Analyst at UN Women and works on advancing women's meaningful participation in UN peacekeeping with the Elsie Initiative Fund for Uniformed Women in Peace Operations.”
