Agustín is Associate Professor and Head of the Economics Department at Trinity College Dublin. Previously, he was Director of the International Macroeconomics research unit (IM-TCD). His research interests include financial globalisation, exchange rates and fiscal policy. His work has been published in the Journal of International Economics, Economic Policy, Journal of International Money and Finance and International Journal of Central Banking, among others.
