Ahmed is a Senior Water Resources Specialist at the World Bank, with 30 years of experience in water-sector investment planning and financing, including 20 years with the World Bank. He joined the World Bank in 2002 as a Young Professional, and since then he worked in 4 World Bank regions and 25 counties. He is a co-author of the World Bank publication “Water in the Arab Word: Management Perspectives and Innovations”. He has PhD in Water Management from Delft University of Technology/Holland, and Masters of Science with distinction in Irrigation Management from Southampton University/UK.
