Ahsan Tehsin began working for the World Bank’s Urban and Disaster Risk Management teams in 2009, supporting the flagship Post-Crisis Needs Assessment in Pakistan. In 2012, he joined the South Asia DRM and Climate Change unit and has worked on disaster preparedness, risk reduction and mitigation, disaster risk financing as well as post-disaster response operations across South Asia. Ahsan currently leads operations on disaster and climate-resilient infrastructure in Pakistan focusing on flood and drought risk mitigation.
