Aída Romero is a Consultant in the Agriculture and Food Practice of the World Bank for Latin America and the Caribbean, working in programs related to food security, rural competitiveness, and agriculture resilience to climate change in Honduras, El Salvador, and Belize. Prior to joining the World Bank, Aída had worked on migration research and anti-corruption initiatives at American University, and at La Fundación Hondureña para el Niño con Cáncer, among other institutions. Aída holds an MA from the College of Arts and Sciences in psychology from American University and a BA in psychology from Universidad Católica de Honduras.
