Aieshwarya Davis works as a Research Analyst for the Executive Director’s Office of the Africa Group 1 Constituency. In this role, she provides economic expertise and research that inform the priorities and strategies of the office. This includes but is not limited to the creation and maintenance of several monitoring dashboards across various topics, leading the publications of the office to keep Governors informed and undertaking analyses on the effects of global issues on constituency countries.
Prior to this, she worked for the International Monetary Fund’s Fiscal Affairs Division in Tax Policy and Research. Her areas of interest and expertise include Gender and Fiscal Policy, with strong data storytelling and visualization skills and a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.
An Indian national, Aieshwarya holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Stella Maris College, University of Madras and a Master’s in International Economics and Development from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
