Aira Htenas is an Agriculture Economist and nutrition focal point with the Agriculture and Food Global Practice (GP) of the World Bank Group, which she joined in March 2013. Before this assignment, she was working for the World Bank Group’s Poverty team on food security and food prices. Prior to joining the Bank, she served as a Food Security Officer with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in Nairobi, Kenya and Rome, Italy. Aira has an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
