Akanksha Burman is presently a consultant in the Macroeconomics, Trade, and Investment Global Practice at the World Bank. An Indian national, Akanksha joined the World Bank Group in 2022. Currently, her areas of work include international supply chains, macroeconomic resilience, investments, and private sector development, where she has led and contributed to global, regional, and country-specific studies.
Akanksha holds a Master’s in International Economics with a specialization in International Trade and Finance from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva, and a Bachelor’s in Finance from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
