Alan David Lee has worked in sustainable energy and climate policy, finance, and program management since 2005, including with the World Bank since 2013. As a Senior Energy and Climate Change Specialist for the Bank he has led multi-million dollar energy sector investments in China and Myanmar as well as global analysis, advice and dialog on topics including distributed solar photovoltaics and the political economy of power sector reform. In previous work for the Australian Government, he managed development cooperation programs in North Asia and negotiated in United Nations climate talks. He holds an interdisciplinary Masters degree from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
