Alastair Haynes is a Consultant in the Poverty and Equity, and Social Protection and Jobs Global Practices. He currently works on evaluating the welfare impact of jobs and shocks, as well as providing technical support on social protection and labor topics. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked on impact evaluations of social protection programs across East Africa. Alastair holds a Masters in Development Economics from the University of Nottingham.
