Albert Solé is a Senior Private Sector Specialist with the Finance Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice of the World Bank Group, East Africa unit. In his capacity, Albert advises trade and industry ministries, investment promotion agencies, and regulatory authorities on policy reforms and interventions to spur private sector-led growth and enhance firm and sector-level productivity. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Albert designed and implemented SME support schemes and sector competitiveness plans at the Regional Competitiveness Agency in Barcelona (Spain). He holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco, an MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and an MSc in Cities from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
