Alberto Sanchez Rodelgo

Alberto Sanchez Rodelgo is an R enthusiast and data scientist in the Trade and Competitiveness global practice at the World Bank. He was a core contributor to the TCdata360 project and has also developed several other data-driven projects at the Bank.

Before joining WBG, Alberto worked at the Statistics Department at the IMF and at the National Statistics Institute of Spain.

Alberto majored in Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid and specialized in Statistics and Operational Research. He also spent one year at the University of Manchester (UMIST) where he studied Applied Mathematics and Data Engineering. He is a fellow member of the Higher Body of Statisticians of Spain. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, watching sports, and tackling data problems, especially if they are sports related. You can follow Alberto @rodelgo_alberto.
