Albertus Voetberg

Albertus (Bert) Voetberg is a medical doctor from the Netherlands who, prior to joining the World Bank, lived and worked in rural Zambia and Burkina Faso.  He holds an MPH from Johns Hopkins and has worked extensively on HIV/AIDS projects and sector-wide approaches.  He was stationed in Nepal for three years where he helped prepare the Bank's current projects on health and nutrition.
