Alejandra Mazariegos is a Consultant at the World Bank’s Carbon Markets and Innovation team where she works providing technical assistance to countries on designing and implementing innovative carbon pricing approaches to greenhouse gas mitigation. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked at the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy (CIERP) and at the Guatemalan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Alejandra holds a master’s degree from The Fletcher School, with concentrations in International Environmental Policy and International Negotiation, and a BA in International Relations from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
