Alexander McPhail is lead water and sanitation specialist in the World Bank's Water Practice. He has worked in the South Asia, Middle East and North Africa, Europe and Central Asia, Africa, and East Asia and Pacific regions, and has a Ph.D. in environmental engineering and economics from Johns Hopkins University.
