Alexandra Gordina is an ETC Economist in the Jobs Group at the World Bank, where she primarily works on lending and analytical projects on the issues of employment, skills, and private sector development.
Before joining the World Bank, Alexandra worked at UNFPA and UNCTAD, promoting the inclusion of women in the workplace and managing entrepreneurship development programs in the Europe and Central Asia region. Alexandra's passion for creating positive change led her to establish and run a social enterprise that organized training programs for youth to enhance their skills and productivity, supporting their transition to the labor markets. She holds a master’s degree from Grenoble École de Management (2013) and a bachelor’s degree from Moscow State University (2011).
