Alfiya Kaulanova is an analyst at "National Information Technologies" JSC - NIT JSC, based in Astana, Kazakhstan. The company provides IT project management services from initiation to accomplishment of creating, implementing and operating the basic components of e-government and government agencies’ information systems.
She started her career in 2013 at the Big Data laboratory of the Center of the Research Laboratories based in NIT JSC. She worked on the Open Data initiative in Kazakhstan, in particular: work on the analysis of Open Data Readinness Assesment, introduction of amendmends in the legislative framework in terms of Open Data, collection and publication of the datasets on Kazakhstani Open Data Portal, mobile application development contest organization. Currently, she works on Open Government component in the e-government development project at NIT JSC.
