Ali is the Communications Lead at Solutions for Youth Employment (S4YE), where he manages and leads the S4YE’s communications strategy. Ali is a multifaceted communications strategist with 15 years of experience working with diverse audiences in domestic and international markets, driving insight and strategy for NGOs, governments, and private sector organizations. Ali’s work has ranged from developing culturally relevant campaigns for obesity prevention and tobacco cessation for English and Spanish-speaking Latin markets to managing the digital operations for the government of Ecuador’s tourism promotion during the 2015 Super Bowl event. He was also part of the Panama government's rapid response team during the Panama Papers crisis. Ali is a seasoned measurement and evaluation professional helping organizations use data to inform their strategy and tell their story.
Ali is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and enjoys playing basketball and reading about international issues and cultures in his spare time. He is a member of the executive board of Proyecto Salud, a nonprofit clinic network in Maryland.
