Alice Amegah

Alice Amegah is an expert in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). Alice holds a PhD in Education and International Development from the University of Cambridge, having obtained an MSc in Comparative and International Education from the University of Oxford. She also holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Ghana, specializing in Clinical and Education Psychology. Her research includes young women's participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in vocational pathways and employers' engagement in youth skills development. Alice is a World Bank Africa Education Fellow with the South Asia Region Education Practice. Her work in the region involves the Lighthouse India project: a knowledge-sharing project on the use of digital technologies in education and skills development between India and several African countries. Alice is passionate about youth empowerment, especially girls.
