Alice Mortlock is an Operations Officer for the World Bank’s Development Impact Evaluation (DIME) Department. Prior to joining DIME, Alice was a Disaster Risk Management Specialist for the World Bank's Global Practice of Urban, Resilience, and Land (GPURL). Prior to joining the World Bank, Alice worked in the New Zealand government as a Senior Advisor on the Canterbury Earthquake recovery and reconstruction process, advising on the reconstruction and resilience of critical infrastructure and urban planning challenges. She holds a master's degree in international relations, political science, and conflict resolution from the University of Canterbury.
