Alisa Currimjee is part of the Early Childhood Development team at the World Bank, where she works on several global initiatives that support the expansion of the Bank’s ECD portfolio. She is also a graduate of the World Bank’s Early Years Fellowship, for which she supported project preparation, research, and policy dialogue related to early learning and childcare in Mozambique, Mauritius, Madagascar, and Comoros. Prior to joining the World Bank, Alisa held several teaching, project management, and consulting positions in South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and North America. She holds a Masters in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelors in Education with a focus on Human Development from Brown University.
