Aliya Kadirov is an Education Consultant with the Education Global Practice of the World Bank. In her current role she supports the Education Finance Thematic Group in developing and implementing knowledge content and tools in education financing. Her research interests include political economy of education, education financing, including results-based financing, and strengthening systems to improve education service delivery. Aliya has a Master’s degree with concentration in Social and Economic Development from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently pursuing her PhD in education policy at the University of Maryland.
