Alok Singh is a seasoned IT professional with over 30 years of experience including managing IT Client Services for World Bank Executive Group. He is currently the Senior Information Officer, Client Services managing guidance and support of innovative technologies to Global Practices staff. While working for the World Bank Group, he has extensively travelled overseas on missions including Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, South Korea, India, Bangladesh, Sweden, Germany, the Philippines, Nepal, Laos, Turkey, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Singapore. These experiences have given him in-depth understanding of information technology project management in a converged global network. Alok has more than 20 years of experience in IT client engagement, business relationships, and communications by having served diverse WBG departments. His innovative thinking combined with excellent industry and Bank knowledge enabled coordination with clients, specialists, managers, and facilitators to plan deployments and implement projects. In his spare time, he is involved in front line development work involving blockchain and renewable energy projects, including solar and carbon finance.
