Amadou Ba is a Senior Agriculture Economist in the South Asia Agriculture and Food Practice Unit at the World Bank. Since joining in 2014, he has focused on transformative agricultural projects in Africa and South Asia, specializing in food security, climate-smart agriculture, livestock development, and agricultural value chains. Before the World Bank, Amadou worked with the African Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, and the Government of Senegal. He holds a Master in Economics from Dakar Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) and a Master in Agriculture Economics from the National School of Agriculture (ENSA, Thies, Senegal)
