Amadou Oumar Ba is Senior Agricultural Specialist currently managing the Bank agriculture portfolio in the DR Congo, Republic of Congo and Central African Republic in his capacity of task team leader for different projects. Amadou joined the Bank in 2001 in the Mauritania Country Office from where he worked in different West Africa countries until 2006 when he moved to Washington. He joined DRC in 2009. Prior to joining the Bank, Amadou held various managerial positions in the Mauritanian administration and was Country Manager for OXFAM GB. Amadou hold a master degree in agricultural engineering in 1984 from the University of Kassel, Germany.
