Senior Economist for Cameroon

Amina Coulibaly is the Senior Economist for Cameroon. She previously was Senior Country Economist for Algeria and Morocco under the Jan Walliser Fellowship program and led the economic policy dialogue and analytical pieces since January 2020. Having joined the World Bank in 2017, she was the Economist based in Côte d'Ivoire and cross-supporting Burkina Faso and Benin Macro fiscal teams. She previously worked as the national Economist at the International Monetary Fund office in Côte d'Ivoire. She has gained ample experience in macro and fiscal issues, tax policy, debt policy, and trade during her career. Amina is a Mandela Washington Fellow from the flagship program of the US Government's Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).
