Amjad Muhammad Khan is an economist with the World Bank Group Water Department. He has more than eight years of experience working in sustainable development and infrastructure projects globally, including investment projects relating to water resources management and irrigation in West Africa and Europe and Central Asia. His analytical work focuses on providing evidence-based insights to inform policy design and investment projects and has featured in various World Bank flagship reports and academic journals. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the George Washington University and an undergraduate degree in economics and mathematics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
