Amna Memon works as a consultant for climate change and disaster risk management projects and analytics based in Islamabad, Pakistan – including the Sindh Flood Emergency Rehabilitation Project, the Crisis Preparedness Gap Analysis, and the Post Disaster Needs Assessment following the 2022 Pakistan floods. She also leads climate integration into all projects in the Pakistan portfolio as a focal point for climate co-benefits. Prior to the World Bank, Amna worked for various international and not-for-profit organizations on disaster risk management, climate change adaptation, economic policy issues, and education. She has a Master’s in Social Policy and Social Research from University College London and a Bachelor’s in Politics and Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
