Ana Cortes-Gonzalez currently serves as a Consultant for the World Bank, where she has contributed to developing legal reforms to promote e-commerce in Central Asia as part of the Elevate Global Access Through E-commerce (E-GATE) project. She has extensive experience advising governments, international organizations, and trade associations across Latin America. Ana's expertise includes significant contributions to national policy frameworks in Colombia, focusing on social inclusion, development, and digital technology.

Ana combines her legal expertise with a passion for leveraging digital technologies to foster equitable economic development. Her work continues to shape the regulatory landscape for e-commerce and drive digital transformation in developing regions.

Ana holds an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Law from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. Her academic background is rooted in public policy, social justice, and the intersection of law and technology. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
