Ana Luiza Machado is a consultant at the World Bank, specializing in the design and implementation of research projects. She has worked across a range of sectors and countries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. She is currently engaged in enhancing research strategies by merging qualitative approaches with applied econometrics and data science techniques. Before starting at the World Bank in 2012, she worked at the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics. She holds a Master's in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics.
