Ana Maria Munoz Boudet is a Lead Economist with the Gender Department where she leads the research and knowledge work on female labor force participation and jobs, social norms, care, digital, and leadership. Prior to the Gender Department she worked with the Poverty and Equity Global Practice and co-led the Mind, Behavior, and Development Unit (eMBeD). Her work spans multiple regions -Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe and Central Asia, Africa, and South Asia, including research, impact evaluations, technical assistance and operational work.
