Andrés Ham is an Associate Professor in the School of Government at Universidad de los Andes located in Bogotá, Colombia. He received my Ph.D. in Agricultural & Applied Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; an M.A. in Economics at Universidad Nacional de la Plata in Argentina, where he was a member of CEDLAS; and received an undergraduate degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras. His research interests include Development, Labor Markets, Economics of Education, Violence & Crime, Poverty & Inequality, and Displacement & Migration. Most of his work is empirical and focuses on countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
