Andrew is a Senior Fisheries Specialist with the World Bank, and has over 25 years experience spanning government, private and non-government sectors. His areas of expertise include small-scale fisheries, precautionary and ecosystem-based approaches to fisheries management, and application of global standards such as the Marine Stewardship Council Fisheries Standard. Andrew has contributed to the management and development of European, Indian Ocean, and Pacific Ocean fisheries, with more than 15 years experience working with Indonesian fisheries. He studied Ph.D. Marine Environmental Science at the University of Queensland, Australia, M.Sc. Oceanography at the University of Southampton, U.K., and B.Sc. Marine Biology at the University of Portsmouth, U.K.
