Andrew Wainer is Director, Policy Research at Save the Children USA where he focuses on development and migration issues. His research and analysis on international development and migration has appeared in peer-reviewed journals including Development in Practice and International Migration. Andrew’s research and writing has also appeared in publications including the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, The Guardian, and The Atlantic, among others. Andrew received his master’s degree in Latin American Studies from UCLA and speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
