Andrius Skarnulis is a Senior Financial Economist with Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice in the Middle East and North Africa Region, leading and contributing to multiple financial and private sector lending operations, advisory services, and policy dialogue in the region. Previously he worked with the Long-term Finance team on sustainable finance projects, development of global knowledge products, and pension fund policy reforms across several regions (East Asia and Pacific; Latin America; Europe and Central Asia). Before joining the World Bank, Andrius gained valuable experience working in several commercial banks, and for about 7 years at the Central Bank of Lithuania. Andrius holds a PhD in Financial Mathematics and is a certified Financial Risk Manager (GARP FRM). He has also successfully completed the international Executive MBA studies at the Baltic Management Institute.
