Andy Shuai Liu is an External Affairs Officer in the office of the World Bank's Director of Corporate Communications. Prior to this role, he was External Affairs Officer and Digital Strategy Liaison for the East Asia and Pacific region. Previously, he was Digital Communications Officer covering a range of topics on Sustanable Development, including urban development, disaster resilience, energy and enviornment, as well as agriculture and land.
Before joining the World Bank, Andy served as a production manager and reporter with China Central Television in Beijing, and later as a senior Chinese editor and English contributor for the International Journalists' Network in Washington, D.C.
Andy studied Public Diplomacy at the Maxwell School and the Newhouse School of Syracuse University in New York, where he earned his Master's degrees in international relations and public relations. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Communication University of China.
