Angella Faith Montfaucon is an Economist at the Macroeconomic, Trade and Investment (MTI) Global Practice in the East Asia and Pacific Region of the World Bank. She joined the Bank as a Young Professional in 2019 and her work spans from fiscal policy, trade policy, and operational experience. Her academic work covers a broad range of policy topics, with strong analytical skills in empirical trade, and publications in leading journals. A Malawian national, Angella holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Yokohama National University (Japan), and an MA in Economic Policy Management from the University of Zambia.
