Ani Rudra Silwal is an economist in the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity Global Practice. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Sussex, an M.Sc. from the University of Maryland, and a B.A. from Swarthmore College. Much of his work revolves around using household survey data to measure and analyze poverty and inequality around the world. He also previously worked on international migration and remittances.
